JAG Entertainment is a full service public relations and celebrity booking company, presided over by industry veteran Jo-Ann Geffen, in association with Jane Covner and with such notable senior publicists as Tracy Howard. JAG headquarters is in Los Angeles, and has an affiliation with Krupp Kommunications in New York and affiliate offices in Johannesburg, South Africa. The company prides itself on going above and beyond the normal constraints of publicity with a creative and innovative flair and a great deal of personal attention. JAG has expertise in both publicity and public relations for personalities, corporations, products, and events. Our experience and knowledge is diverse and expansive. In addition to the realm of publicity, JAG can be valuable in areas such as talent acquisition, marketing, merchandising, licensing, sponsorship, and ancillary areas. One of the primary responsibilities of a public relations company is imaging. This is done by formulating, developing and executing a full-fledged P.R. campaign tailor-made to each client. Once goals are mutually established with the client, press kits are created, which entails conceptualizing, packaging and writing such materials as biographies and corporate background as well as press releases and/or descriptions of specific current product, projects, events, and newsworthy announcements.
It is our task to deal with media on an ongoing basis. This includes trade and consumer publications, local and national print, electronic media, wire services, photojournalists, columnists, television (news coverage, talk and magazine format shows,) Internet outlets, and radio. Specific press announcements will be made as appropriate and may include the scheduling and coordination of press conferences and special events.

Geffen served as Talent Executive for the Children's Miracle Network Telethons for four consecutive years, Easter Seal Telethon, the Black Achievement Awards, Rhythm & Blues Awards, the March of Dimes Telethon, America Online, Hola and Hello Magazines from Spain and England, respectively, To the Ends of the Earth (USA Network), United Cerebral Palsy Telethon (l998), Academy of Television Arts and Sciences' pre-Emmy events honoring past winners and nominees for five consecutive years, as well as ATAS' Creative Arts Awards (1994-1995), Miss World 1992 and 1993, various events for M-Net (South Africa), Battle of the Network Stars, Inside Edition, At Home with Joy Philbin (2000), Lifetime Television's "Women at Risk" (1999), American Couples (2000), the Vuka! Awards (2000), and many more.

Jane Covner has created Grammy, Emmy and Oscar-winning publicity campaigns. Beginning at age 16 as the youngest columnist at the Stamford Advocate, Covner went on to be a book reporter for Denver's Rocky Mountain News and writer for United Features Syndicate's "Pop Scene" column." She has served as publicity director for renowned motion picture producer director Roger Corman's New World Pictures production and distribution company, overseeing campaigns for films by directors including Antonioni, Fellini, Beresford and the Academy Award winning film, "The Tin Drum." As senior vice president, The Michael Dalling Company, she handled campaigns for independent feature film distribution companies domestically and internationally, including The Cannes Film Festival, charitable organizations, The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards, the U.S. visit of H.R.H. the Princess Anne, the TV-ratings spectacular, The Mystery of Al Capone's Vaults" and the "Twin Peaks" TV pilot. Covner served as National Publicity Director for Windham Hill Records overseeing numerous Grammy-winning projects and was hired to help launch the WB Television network. As an account executive with Linda Dozoretz Communications, she handled a variety of accounts including The Doris Day Animal League and Foundation, (an animal rights lobbying organization in Washington, DC) handling press conferences in conjunction with the passage of legislation signed into law by President Clinton, (also serving as associate editor of the Animal Guardian quarterly), Dodger Shawn Green in conjunction with The Jewish Federation, Hank Ketcham and the 50th anniversary of Dennis the Menace, and many publicity efforts on behalf of IMG, the largest sports marketing agency in the world.
Tracy Howard's experience includes expertise in the launch of the WB Network, Universal Studios Island's of Adventure, the Hard Rock Hotel Orlando and Universal Studios Japan. As head of talent relations for the WB Television Network and as a publicist of Universal Studios Hollywood, she has worked closely with top talent including writers, producers, directors and actors.
